    AARP Safe Driving

    Veteran drivers will learn how to compensate for age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. This is not a ticket removal course, but participants may obtain a reduction in car insurance upon completion. A supply fee of $20 for AARP members or $25 for non-members covers administrative costs, is due in class and is payable by cash or check made payable to AARP. AARP members must bring their membership card to class and a current driver's license. $10 Registration Fee

  • Advanced Drone Flying Camp

    Calling all previous DroneTogether pilots! This fast-paced flying camp is for all our past students who are ready to take the next step with their flying skills. Each day will offer our young flyers a chance to challenge their skills in a variety of fun and engaging activities. Many of the kids' favorite activities from previous classes will be included, but pilots in the advanced camp can expect to see more of the larger drones, some videography practice, competitive races, team challenges, flying adventures and more. Come join us for this exciting week of flying. It is a prerequisite to have taken a previous drone class or camp to qualify for this opportunity.     The NEISD Community Learning Center is an approved Driver's Education program regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).   • Basketball - Tx Youth

    Do you love Basketball? Want to play every day? Come learn how to play basketball in a fun and safe environment. We will practice the fundamental basics of dribbling, passing, catching, shooting, moving with and without the ball, and learn to play defense. Students will learn how to be team players and use different strategies while gaining a better understanding of sportsmanship and leadership. They will also learn a variety of basketball related games and activities such as shooting knockout, dribble knockout, sharks and minnows, 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 5 on 5 and more.     If you want to learn how to play basketball and have a chance to play every day this is your camp! Learn how to play basketball in a safe fun environment. We will practice the basics of dribbling, passing, catching, shooting, moving without the ball and playing defense. Then we will learn how to play as a team. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn the basics and have the opportunity to get active!! After school and evening classes available.
