This hands-on photography course is designed to help beginners move beyond automatic settings and confidently take creative control of their cameras. Through interactive challenges and playful experiments, students will learn the fundamentals of manual photography, including ISO, aperture, shutter speed, composition, and lighting. Each session blends practical demonstrations with creative exercises—freezing and blurring motion with water, creating cinematic portraits with shallow depth of field, transforming everyday objects into dramatic scenes, and using simple lighting to craft striking images. By the end of the course, participants will not only understand how their camera works but will also develop a photographer’s eye, learning how to shape light, frame compelling compositions, and shoot confidently in full manual mode.

Withdrawals/Refunds:

“If you are unable to attend the course session, we are happy to refund tuition, less a 5% processing fee, when you cancel your course session a week before the course starts. The deadline to request a refund is 5:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the course week. “
