About Youth Community Ed

Please be advised that students may only be enrolled in after-school courses that are offered at their current campus. However, our evening classes, which begin after 6:00 PM, are available to all children in the community, regardless of the campus they are currently enrolled in.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming your child to our programs.

Withdrawals/Refunds:

Karate by Hill Country (Ages 5 - 12)

Hill Country Karate is a community sponsored program which teaches American karate in a positive, professional manner. The primary goal of Hill Country Karate instructors is to develop students mentally as well as physically by focusing on attitude, respect and discipline. Give your child the best chance to succeed with our Kids Martial Arts Classes. We're helping children ages 5-12 stay active and have a blast learning the basics of martial arts training. There's nothing more important than teaching your child how to be respectful of others and confident in themselves. There's no better way to build confidence than through accomplishment and our Kids Martial Arts progression system sets your child up for success from day one - regardless of their age or experience level. A uniform is required for this class and is available through the instructor for a fee of $40.00. Additionally students will need a mouthguard and boys will need a cup and supporter for weeks 5-8 of class. For questions on requirements please reach out to the HCK office at 830-629-6686. Explore the joys of this rapidly growing sport with Skyhawks, where you'll not only learn the basics but also develop important life skills like sportsmanship and respect in a fun and engaging environment. My Art Starz

Calling all artists! Join us for a 12-week session of drawing and painting fun! Students will learn fine art techniques as they explore watercolor, acrylic on canvas, drawing, collage, chalk pastels, and clay sculpture! Kids are guided through step-by-step lessons to learn techniques, but they are encouraged to put their own "personal touch" to their projects as they learn about color theory, value, composition and more. Bricks, Bots, & Beakers: Think Like An Engineer

Welcome to an exciting education journey where students will delve into the fascinating world of engineering! Throughout this program, they will be introduced to four branches of engineering: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, and Aerospace. This class is all about becoming problem solvers with creating brainstorming and the engineering design process. Each week young innovators will immerse themselves in various captivating construction and building projects.
