Welcome to the exciting world of craft theater! In this hands-on session, campers will explore various techniques to design and craft their own unique creatures. From caterpillars, to jelly fish, to a not-so-spooky floating ghost, campers will follow simple instructions and use imaginative play to bring their creatures to life in a fun, supportive environment!

Learning Outcomes:

• Teamwork & Collaboration
  • Practice working collaboratively as part of a team to create and solve problems, inspiring a feeling of community and fun.
• Creative Expression
  • Design and decorate original masks using a variety of craft materials
• Fine Motor Skills
  • Strength cutting, gluing, and decorating skills through hand-on crafting activities. Learn to repair any broken elements reinforcing the importance of repair over replacing.
• Creative Play and Imagination
  • Campers will use their imaginations to invent stories, characters, and scenarios that allow them to express their ideas and personalities. With a mix of guided activities and open play, campers will practice thinking creatively, collaborating on storytelling, and bringing imaginative worlds to life.

Withdrawals/Refunds:

“If you are unable to attend the course session, we are happy to refund tuition, less a 5% processing fee, when you cancel your course session a week before the course starts. The deadline to request a refund is 5:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the course week. “
