Sewing machine experience needed. Finish that garment you’ve been meaning to alter and save money too. Never go to the tailor again! Bring 3 or more of your own garments to start altering in class. Class lessons will be driven by what garments students bring to class to work on. This class is all about hemming. Learn to measure and adjust hems, preserve original jeans hems, blind hem, and more! Class Requirements Sewing 101 or prior sewing machine experience What To Bring At least 3 garments minimum to practice designated techniques on.

For ages 4 to 7, or for people of any age who might need some extra fine motor practice. This class focuses on fine motor skills, attention span, bilateral coordination, motor planning, hand-eye coordination, special reasoning, counting and more. They'll be having so much fun, they won't even know they are learning! If the project is amenable to it, and students demonstrate good listening and patience, we will use the sewing machine to finish the project!

In Learn to Sew Club, kiddos age 5-8 will learn a mix of hand sewing and machine sewing (yes, they will learn to use a sewing machine! WOW!), focusing on working those fine motor skills, delaying gratification and expanding attention spans and encouraging self-patience. Projects may plushies, garments, fashion accessories, and more. Beginners welcome! All materials included.

Saturday Sewing for Kids is an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER sewing class. All materials are included - ages 8 TO ADULT are welcome! Class Requirements Beginner. No experience needed! You will learn the following: A quick safety lessons The "anatomy" of a sewing machine and its useful parts Sewing basics: pins, needles, thread, cutting tools, the importance of pressing/ironing How to thread sewing machine How to wind a bobbin and load it How to change stitch length, stitch width, and stitch style, and when to use them How to sew straight stitches How to gauge seam allowance Hacks to make your time at the sewing machine easy Price of class includes fabric for your creation, thread and tools available in studio for your use.

If you've been wanting to turn a pile of t-shirts into something you'll actually use, this is the class for you! You will need a minimum of 12 shirts to create this quilt. Session 1: Learn about fabric and interfacing. Use sewing tools. Measure, prepare & cut your t-shirts to size.

Basic sewing machine experience needed. Please register for this class at least a week ahead of time so you can prepare your shirts. If you've been wanting to turn a pile of t-shirts into something you'll actually use, this is the class for you! You will need a minimum of 12 shirts to create this quilt. Session 2: Complete prep, sewing practice, plan your quilt layout. Begin assembly.

If you've been wanting to turn a pile of t-shirts into something you'll actually use, this is the class for you! You will need a minimum of 12 shirts to create this quilt. Sessions 3+: Assemble & complete. Learn a variety of ways to "finish" your quilt, including bindings, embroidery, appliqué, hand stitching, and more.
