North East ISD

This 4-week series blends beginner yoga with the playful, therapeutic presence of goats. Under the direction of a certified yoga instructor, students will explore foundational yoga poses, mindfulness techniques, and fun, animal-assisted play to support emotional well-being. Each class will include a 45-minute Goat Yoga class followed by a dedicated period of “Goat Cuddles” and additional interaction time with the goats. Classes are held indoors.
Course Goals:

• Develop foundational yoga skills in a supportive, playful environment
• Promote mindfulness and stress reduction through animal interaction
• Foster physical, emotional, and social wellness
• Understand the role of animal-assisted activities in holistic health

   Yoga Mat/Supply Fee:

Students are welcome to bring their own yoga mat, or one can be purchased for $10. Mats can be purchased in advance by clicking the following link: https://www.goatshenanigans.com/goat-yoga-neisd. Mats will be distributed on the first day of class. A mat also may be purchased in person on the first day of class. 

  

Withdrawals/Refunds:

“If you are unable to attend the course session, we are happy to refund tuition, less a 5% processing fee, when you cancel your course session a week before the course starts. The deadline to request a refund is 5:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the course week. “
