Course Overview

Welcome to the Basic Photography Course! Whether you're a beginner or someone looking to strengthen your foundation, this course will give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take your photography to the next level.

Taught by a professional photographer with over a decade of experience in portraits, weddings, and fashion, this course blends technical instruction with creative exploration. Each session includes hands-on practice and group feedback on assignments to help you grow week by week.

• How to confidently operate your camera in manual and semi-automatic modes
• The Exposure Triangle: balancing ISO, aperture, and shutter speed
• Composition and framing techniques to create striking images
• How to work with both natural and artificial light
• Real-world techniques and insights from a working photographer
• How to analyze and improve your own work through weekly photo assignments and peer/instructor feedback

Withdrawals/Refunds:

“If you are unable to attend the course session, we are happy to refund tuition, less a 5% processing fee, when you cancel your course session a week before the course starts. The deadline to request a refund is 5:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the course week. “
