    AARP Safe Driving

    Veteran drivers will learn how to compensate for age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. This is not a ticket removal course, but participants may obtain a reduction in car insurance upon completion. A supply fee of $20 for AARP members or $25 for non-members covers administrative costs, is due in class and is payable by cash or check made payable to AARP. AARP members must bring their membership card to class.

    More than 90 million people in the world speak German and YOU CAN BE ONE OF THEM!!!!!! In this introductory course the focus is on speaking and listening comprehension at a beginner level. Topics include greetings and farewells, introducing yourself, the alphabet, numbers, family members, colors and more. The instructor is a native from Germany and received her Master's Degree from Johann Wolfgang Universität of Frankfurt. Book to purchase: Living Language German Essential (ISBN 978-0-307-47852-8) or complete edition (will use only Essential in this class). Instructor will supplement with worksheets for additional practice.

Each student will perform a short commercial with Master Voice Over Coach Janice Dean’s techniques to make it simple, fun, and uniquely yours.     Water Exercise- Deep Water

    Class dates are: Mondays & Wednesdays Session 1- September 7- November 16, 2022 Session 2- November 28- December 14, 2022 This high intensity, no-impact workout, held in the indoor Davis Pool, focuses on cardiovascular conditioning muscle toning and overall body strength. Bring your own aquatic belt, water weights or gloves. No swimming skills required. Water temperature remains constant to 78 - 82 degrees. Purchase a punch card that will allow you the flexibility to attend the classes that work with your schedule. Punch cards may only be used by the purchaser. Punch cards issued August 2022 through December 2022 will expire December 14, 2022. All punch card sales are final. No refunds will be issued for entire or partially used cards. You must bring your punch card with you to each class in order to participate. Don't forget: You can purchase a punch card and start class at any time during the semester. The punch card system allows you to make your own schedule so you can come and go to class as you please.

    Water Exercise- Shallow Water

    Class dates are: Mondays & Wednesdays Session 1- September 7- November 16, 2022 Session 2- November 28- December 14, 2022 This aerobic exercise in an indoor pool is less rigorous and lots of fun. Tone up with this well-balanced workout that blends water exercise and strength training. Bring either a noodle or belt/weights to class. Aquatic exercise shoes are highly recommended because you will be in shallow water (4 ft.). No swimming skills required. Purchase a punch card that will allow you the freedom to attend the class that best fits your schedule. Punch cards may only be used by the purchaser.
